Ibrahim Khan's wife wanted to go to the public bath, but her husband refused to let her. While they were disputing, a relative of the husband arrived and the two men killed the wife, disposing of her body that same night. After a few days, when the corpse was found, her father, Haj Mullabashi Taliqani identified her and found out that the couple had had a fight on the day of the murder. ‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah expressing his love and his sadness that Surur was given a hard time. He is hopeful that they soon find a good house, and if he could not find a place in a few days, he would ask Nayyir al-Muluk so they could stay in their quarters for a while. He once again says how sorry he is that he has not been able to find a house yet.
